📈 STOCK UP

🔼  Bayou Battle. The women’s basketball team will be taking on Texas A&M tonight in the PMAC. LSU has the nation’s top scoring offense and the Aggies are the top scoring defense, so expect a battle! The Tigers are rolling on a 15-game winning streak, the longest current streak in women’s college basketball. Tip-off is at 7 pm and you can tune in on SEC Network+ and the LSU Sports Radio Network.

🔼  Burger Baller. While we’re on the topic of women’s basketball, LSU signee Jada Richard was named a McDonald’s All-America nominee! The Lafayette native scored 84 points in two games over the weekend. She was named the top player in Louisiana and is a top-100 prospect by ESPNW.

🔼 Early Birds. The first edition of The Bowerman Women’s Preseason Watch List was released by the USTFCCCA and two Tigers made the cut! Alia Armstrong made her second-straight preseason appearance on the list. Michaela Rose is one of two semifinalists returning from last season. On the men’s side, Godson Oghenebrume was named to the list and Tzuriel Pedigo received votes! LSU is the only team in the country with multiple women on the list.

🔼 Bo Knows. Former LSU nose guard Bo Davis is returning to Baton Rouge as the defensive line coach! He’s spent the last three seasons at Texas, a team that reached the College Football Playoffs this season. He played for LSU in the 1990’s and then served as a graduate assistant from 1995-97. He was a part of the strength and conditioning staff when LSU won the 2003 national championship. He was also with Alabama during their 2009 and 2015 national championship seasons. Bo is a proven winner and will be a great addition to the staff!

🔼  Hot Spot. You could call LSU baseball a hot spot in the transfer portal. The LSU transfer class was ranked No. 2 by D1 Baseball! The Tigers have seven transfers set to make an impact this season — shortstop Michael Braswell III, outfielder Mac Bingham, RHP Luke Holman, LHP Gage Jump, LHP Justin Loer, RHP Fidel Ulloa, and RHP Kade Woods. Additionally, LHP Cameron Johnson was named the top college freshman of 2024 by Perfect Game. Jake Brown landed at No. 30 on the list and Steven Milam No. 67.
