Team Meeting. As the 2024 Tigers entered a new baseball season, Jon Gordon visited with the team offering perspectives of positive thinking and aligning a focus towards challenges ahead. Gordon is a best-selling author and speaker on the topics of leadership, culture, and teamwork.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Headed To The Hill. The No. 2 overall seeded LSU gymnastics team will head to Arkansas for the Fayetteville Regional to start the NCAA postseason. They earned the top seed in the regional. They’ll compete on April 4 and look to secure a sport at the 2024 NCAA Gymnastics Championships in Fort Worth. They’ll be competing in session two in Fayetteville, going head-to-head with Minnesota, Oregon State, and the winner of Boise State and BYU. The top two teams from each session will compete in the regional final on Saturday, April 6.

🔼 Batter Up. LSU baseball is hosting an in-state showdown tonight at The Box! They’ll host Southeastern Louisiana at 6:30 pm on SEC Network+. The first 1,000 fans at the stadium will receive a “Powerhouse” mini-bat! The Tigers beat the Lions earlier in the season, 4-3. LSU has won 30 of their last 32 meetings with SLU.

🔼 Sitting In Second. The men’s golf team finished day two at the Hootie at Bulls Bay sitting in second-place. Jay Mendell shot a bogey-free 4-under to lead the Tigers to a team round of 10-under. He’s tied for third-place at 5-under, right behind Connor Gaunt who owns second-place. They’ll try to regain the lead today in the final round.

🔼 Day Trip. The softball team is headed down the road to Nicholls for a sold out midweek game tonight. They’ll play at 6 pm on ESPN+. The Tigers opened this season with an 8-0 run-rule victory over the Colonels. They’re coming off a series loss at Missouri, but they got a win on Sunday. The Tigers lead the all-time series over Nicholls, 38-1.

🔼  Top Of The Track. The first edition of the USTFCCCA Outdoor Rankings were released and the Tigers are at the top! The women’s track & field team ranked No. 1 and the men’s team came in at No. 2. LSU has 20 marks that rank inside the top-10 of the national rankings this week. Six of those marks are ranked No. 1.
