Tigers Win: Russell Brock Previews 2026 LSU Beach Volleyball Season 

Time to get sandy! We're about a month away from LSU Beach Volleyball season. Head coach ⁠Russell Brock⁠ joins the latest edition of Tigers Win to preview it all and talk about his 2026 roster over at Death Volley.

🔼 Down Goes No. 2. No. 12 LSU women’s hoops took down the second-ranked Texas Longhorns, 70-65, on Sunday afternoon in front of a raucous home crowd at Pete Maravich Assembly Center. The Tigers, now 16-2 on the season, were led by Mikaylah Williams with 20 points, while MiLaysia Fulwiley, Jada Richard, Flau’jae Johnson, and ZaKiyah Johnson all added 10 apiece. The Tigers are back on the court on Sunday, Jan. 18, against Oklahoma at 2 p.m. CT from Norman.

🔼 Keep Watch. Three LSU Tigers landed on the John R. Wooden Top 25 Midseason Watch List, given annually to the top player in women’s college hoops. Flau’jae Johnson, Mikaylah Williams, and MiLaysia Fulwiley all earned the midseason nod.

🔼 Season Opener. LSU gymnastics opened the 2026 season at the third-annual Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad and finished with a 197.500 on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers ended the meet tied for first with Oklahoma, who ultimately won via tiebreaker. The Tigers are back at it on Friday, Jan. 16, against Georgia.
