🔼  Fourth Quarter Fight. No. 5 LSU women’s basketball took control in the final quarter to defeat Vanderbilt 83-77 last night. The teams were separated by just one point entering the fourth, but the Tigers turned up the heat and the final six-point lead was the largest lead by either team. Aneesah Morrow notched her ninth double-double in a row with 23 points and 15 rebounds. She reached 1,500 rebounds, making her just the eighth player in NCAA history to have 2,500 career points and 1,500 career rebounds. Flau’Jae Johnson finished with 25 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Mikaylah Williams scored 20 with five rebounds and assists. The Tigers will have a break before playing at Florida on Sunday.

🔼 Our House. The men’s basketball team hosts Arkansas tonight at 8 p.m. on SEC Network. Both teams are searching for their first SEC win after starting conference play 0-3. Get there early to take advantage of Beat the Buzzer Happy Hour! Plus, there will be Air Elite Dunkers at halftime.

🔼 Here Come The Tigers. LSU baseball continues to earn preseason praise before things get started! D1 Baseball ranked the Tigers No. 3 in its Preseason Poll. Six SEC teams make up the top 10. LSU’s first full-squad preseason practice will be held on January 24. The season will begin on February 14 when they host Purdue Fort Wayne at Alex Box Stadium.

🔼 Headliners. Two Tiger softball players landed on D1 Softball’s D100 Player Rankings list! Two-time All-America pitcher Sydney Berzon checks in at No. 8 as she enters her junior season. Third baseman Danica Coffey ranked No. 82 after leading the team with a .408 batting average before suffering an injury last season. Destiny Harris, Jayden Heavener, Sa’Mya Jones, and Jada Phillips were listed on the D100 Freshman Watch List.

🔼 Support The Clubs. The Tiger Athletic Foundation and LSU’s nationally-ranked men’s and women’s golf programs announced a new support group for the teams called the Swinging Mike Club, LSU Golf’s Official Booster Club! The Swinging Mike Club replaces the former Chip-In Club as we enter an exciting new time for LSU golf.
