Lagniappe. LSU Baseball kicked off the 2025 season with the First Pitch Banquet at the Crowne Plaza on January 16th. Hear Jay Johnson's address along with a Q&A panel with National Champion former Tigers Tre' Morgan and Dylan Crews.

The Yeti Game Changer of the Week is LSU gymnast Aleah Finnegan! She took pieces of the all-around, floor, and vault titles in No. 2 LSU’s win over No. 7 Florida. She scored a 39.500 in the all-around and earned 9.950’s on floor and vault. With Aleah’s help, the Tigers rank No. 1 in the nation on vault and floor. She ranks third in the nation in the all-around.

🔼 Beast Mode. Women’s basketball’s Aneesah Morrow has been named the Naismith Trophy Player of the Week! She recorded two double-doubles and two 20-point games last week. She leads the nation with 17 double-doubles this season and ranks second all-time. Morrow is also the only player in the country with multiple 20/20 games this season.

🔼  Strong Start. The women’s tennis team started the season strong in San Diego! On Friday, they defeated San Diego 5-2. The momentum remained strong on Saturday when they took down UC Santa Barbara 6-1. LSU took the doubles point in both matches. They’ll travel to Florida this weekend for the ITA Kickoff Weekend.
