Presented by Baton Rouge Super Chevy Dealers | As the Tigers watch banners being hung in the PMAC signifying their achievements last season, LSU Gymnastics looks for the sparks to set its 2025 season ablaze. Luckily, a talented freshman class that includes Kailin Chio and Lexi Zeiss has made brilliant early first impressions in purple and gold.

🔼 Starting Five. Women’s basketball’s Mikaylah Williams was named to the USBWA’s Starting Five of the Week! She scored 20+ points in LSU’s last two games and has played a big role in the Tigers’ 20-0 record. The Tigers have a big test tomorrow when they play No. 2 South Carolina on the road.

🔼 Sweeping Sprints. LSU swimmer Michaela de Villiers was named the SEC Swimmer of the Week! At LSU’s dual meet at Texas A&M, she swept the sprint freestyle events in the 50-yard and 100-yard. She also participated in the 200-yard relay that the Tigers won.

🔼  Cannon Ball. Calling all students! We need you for our Student Cannon Ball Contest this Saturday at 10 a.m. You must be an LSU student that is not affiliated with the athletic department. The deadline to enter is tomorrow, so click here to enter now! The LSU swimming & diving team will host Delta State and Cincinnati this weekend.
