Presented by Baton Rouge Super Chevy Dealers | As the Tigers watch banners being hung in the PMAC signifying their achievements last season, LSU Gymnastics looks for the sparks to set its 2025 season ablaze. Luckily, a talented freshman class that includes Kailin Chio and Lexi Zeiss has made brilliant early first impressions in purple and gold.

🔼 Change Of Plans. What was supposed to be tonight’s top-five matchup at No. 2 South Carolina has been postponed to tomorrow at 4 p.m. due to travel issues. The game will still air on ESPN.

🔼 All-American Tigers. LSU baseball’s Jared Jones and Daniel Dickinson were named 2025 Preseason All-Americans by D1Baseball. Jones, a first-team selection, led the SEC in walks and home runs last season. Dickinson, a third-team pick, was a First-Team All-WAC selection at Utah Valley last year.

🔼  All-American Ace. LSU softball’s Sydney Berzon was named First Team Preseason All-American by D1Softball! The Tiger ace was also named to USA Softball’s Top 53 Watch List with teammate Danieca Coffey.

🔼  Cross It Off. LSU women’s tennis player Kayla Cross earned her first SEC Freshman of the Week honor of her career! She has made an instant impact, competing on the No. 1 court in doubles and the No. 2 court in singles to open the season. She and freshman teammate Cadence Brace took the doubles point in the season opener. She got her first singles win against UC Santa Barbara.
