The LSU Gymnastics team will kick off the 2025 season today inside the Pete Maravich Assembly Center, their first meet since winning the national championship on April 20th, 2024. It’s a new year and a new team for the Tigers as they gear up to protect the crown.

🔼 Started Strong. The sixth-ranked women’s basketball team started SEC play strong! They defeated Arkansas 98-64 on the road. Aneesah Morrow recorded her 14th double-double of the year with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Flau’jae Johnson recorded her fourth double-double with 15 points and 10 boards. The Tigers will host Auburn on Sunday at 3 p.m. Come to the game dressed like Coach Mulkey!

🔼 Hang The Banner. Gymnastics season is here! The defending National Champions take the mat tonight at 6:30 p.m., hosting Iowa State. The National Champion banner will drop before the meet gets started, and fans will receive a mini replica banner! Fans at home can watch on SEC Network. The Tigers enter the season ranked No. 2.

🔼 SEC Play Begins. The women’s team got things started last night; now it’s time for the men’s team! The Tigers start SEC play tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. when they host Vanderbilt. LSU is coming off a dominant 110-45 win over Mississippi Valley State. They rank 12th in the nation in defensive field goal percentage.
