The Climb. Presented by Baton Rouge Super Chevy Dealers | 258 days. It’s been 258 days since the Tigers made history. The LSU Gymnastics team will kick off the 2025 season today inside the Pete Maravich Assembly Center, their first meet since winning the national championship on April 20th, 2024. It’s a new year and a new team for the Tigers as they gear up to protect the crown.

🔼 Started Strong. The sixth-ranked women’s basketball team started SEC play strong! They defeated Arkansas 98-64 on the road. Aneesah Morrow recorded her 14th double-double of the year with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Flau’jae Johnson recorded her fourth double-double with 15 points and 10 boards. The Tigers will host Auburn on Sunday at 3 p.m. Come to the game dressed like Coach Mulkey!

🔼 Hang The Banner. Gymnastics season is here! The defending National Champions take the mat tonight at 6:30 p.m., hosting Iowa State. The National Champion banner will drop before the meet gets started, and fans will receive a mini replica banner! Fans at home can watch on SEC Network. The Tigers enter the season ranked No. 2.

🔼 SEC Play Begins. The women’s team got things started last night; now it’s time for the men’s team! The Tigers start SEC play tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. when they host Vanderbilt. LSU is coming off a dominant 110-45 win over Mississippi Valley State. They rank 12th in the nation in defensive field goal percentage.
