Hometown To Hall Of Fame. No matter how you put it, Seimone Augustus is Baton Rouge. From her bitty ball days at BREC to playing on the world stage for Team USA to becoming the first female athlete to receive a statue in her honor on the LSU campus, Seimone recounts her life and career with the heart of a true Tiger.

🔼 Big Three. The seventh-ranked women’s basketball team defeated No. 13 Oklahoma 107-100 in an offensive shootout! The Tigers’ 107 points were the most in an SEC game in program history. Flau’Jae Johnson, Aneesah Morrow, and Mikaylah Williams combined for 83 points. Williams led the team with 37 points to go with seven boards and five assists. Johnson scored 25 points, while Morrow recorded her 20th double-double of the year with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams shot over 30 free throws. The Tigers will host Mississippi State on Sunday at 1 p.m.

🔼 Tiger Tussle. The third-ranked gymnastics squad hosts No. 9 Missouri tonight at 7:30 p.m. The meet will air on SEC Network, but inside the PMAC there will be t-shirts given out to fans and students! LSU is looking to bounce back from a loss to Arkansas, while Missouri is coming off an upset of Kentucky.

🔼  Tigers Take On Texas. The men’s basketball team will host Texas tomorrow at 5 p.m. on SEC Network! The first 1,000 fans will receive rally towels. The 1999-2000 Sweet Sixteen team will be honored during the game.

🔼 Get Your Tickets. Single-game baseball tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, February 4, at 10 a.m. Team TAF and/or Oaks Members through the Tiger Athletic Foundation will have access to a presale on Monday at 10 a.m.

You won’t want to miss a chance to see D1 Baseball’s 2025 SEC Preseason Freshman of the Year Derek Curiel in action!

🔼 Triple Threat. Three Tigers were named to the Preseason All-SEC softball team — pitcher Sydney Berzon, infielder Danieca Coffey, and outfielder Julia Lassiter. The Tigers were picked to finish sixth in the SEC by the conference’s coaches. Softball season is just one week away!

🔼 Teaming Up. Four former LSU softball players were drafted to the inaugural Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL)! Ciara Briggs, Aliyah Andrews, and Carley Hoover were drafted to the Blaze. Hoover was the No. 2 pick in the first round. Sahvanna Jaquish was drafted 22nd in the sixth round by the Talons, coached by LSU assistant Howard Dobson. The AUSL will play its inaugural season this summer in six to eight cities.
