🔼  Road Woes. The men’s basketball team dropped their first road SEC game of the season last night, losing 83-67 at Missouri. Cam Carter led LSU with 16 points and went 5-5 from the free throw line. Curtis Givens finished with 15 points. The Tigers return to play on Saturday at No. 23 Ole Miss.

🔼 Crown Them. Two Tigers took home SEC Gymnastics Awards this week! Aleah Finnegan was named SEC Gymnast of the Week after scoring a 39.725 in her first all-around appearance since last March. She won titles in all four events and the all-around against Iowa State. Kailin Chio was named SEC Freshman of the Week after sharing the bars and beam title with Finnegan. She became the first LSU freshman to compete in the all-around since 2020. She also recorded the school’s highest all-around debut score by a freshman.

🔼 A&A In Action. LSU men’s golfers Algot Kleen and Árni Sveinsson will represent Europe in the Bonallack Trophy Matches, beginning today in Dubai. They’ll compete in Ryder-Cup style matches through Friday. Kleen represents his home country of Sweden, while Sveinsson represents Iceland. The Tiger duo will be paired together today.

🔼 Purple & Gold In The City Of Gold. Two women’s golfers will also be teeing off in Dubai today for the Patsy Hankins Trophy! Áine Donegan and Rocío Tejedo will represent Europe against Asia-Pacific. The format mirrors the Solheim Cup, with one additional match in each of the four sessions over the first two days. The teams will compete through Friday.

The Kelly Family Million Dollar Challenge is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on LSU football student-athletes. For every dollar you contribute to Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) through the Bayou Traditions Football Fund through February 5, your gift’s impact will be tripled. The Kelly Family will match all contributions, up to $1 million, and an anonymous support will match up to $1 million in support of NIL opportunities.

This is your chance to make a difference in the lives of our football student-athletes and help continue LSU football’s legacy of excellence. Take part in the challenge and maximize your impact. Every $1 gift will bring $3 in support to football NIL opportunities and the Tiger Athletic Foundation.
