LSU Football returns to Death Valley to face Texas A&M with redemption on their mind. A sea of gold and a sold-out Tiger Stadium awaiting them, the Tigers look to stop Marcel Reed and the Aggies in a key, late-September showdown with SEC implications.

🔼 Locked Down. Former Tiger Mansoor Delane is shutting down his opponents at the next level. Delane is the top-rated PFF CB in man coverage through the first three weeks of the NFL season.

🔼 Two Tigers Honored. LSU women's golf swept a pair of SEC weekly awards after a strong showing at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic. Ryleigh Knaub took Golfer of the Week after tying for third at 12-under, closing with a career-low 7-under 65 that ranks tied for sixth all-time at LSU for a single round. Raegan Denton earned Freshman of the Week honors with a tie for fifth at 11-under, becoming just the eighth Tiger to post three straight rounds in the 60s on a par 72 course. The performance moved Denton to No. 49 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings. LSU returns Oct. 12-13 at the inaugural Haskins Intercollegiate.

🔼 Belgium Comes Calling. A pair of October internationals against Italy and Portugal will pull LSU freshman goalkeeper Marie Pues away from Baton Rouge, with the Royal Belgian Football Association naming her to the national team. The Leuven native has come up through Belgium's youth setup from U15 through U19 as a starting keeper, and she arrived at LSU this season from RSC Anderlecht, where she won Belgian Cups at the U16 and U18 levels. She has appeared twice in goal for the Tigers, including the shutout in a 5-0 win over Northwestern State on Aug. 16. Belgium meets Italy on Oct. 8 and Portugal on Oct. 12.

🔼 Strong Finish In Carolina. Noah McWilliams saved his best for last at the Bryan Bros Collegiate, closing with a 5-under 66 to finish 3-under and tie for 12th. The Louisiana native racked up 14 birdies and was one of three LSU golfers with multiple eagles. Dan Hayes was the only other Tiger under par for the week at 2-under, good for a tie for 15th. No. 17 LSU finished seventh as a team at even par, closing with its best round of the tournament.

Mansoor Delane became just the 14th unanimous All-American in LSU history. Prior to Delane, who was the last Tiger to earn that honor at cornerback?
