🎥 LSU+: Eye To Eye

Eye to Eye: Jurnee Robinson
From purple and gold to red, white and blue. Jurnee Robinson exchanged three letters (LSU) for three letters (USA) as a right-side for the Women’s U23 National Team this summer. Hear from the LSU Volleyball star as she talks about her experience representing her country on the biggest stage.

🔼 A Legend. The spotlight is on Doug Moreau for his lasting legacy with LSU, both on and off the field. As a standout tight end in the mid-1960s, he earned All-SEC and All-America honors and had memorable performances in the Sugar and Cotton Bowls. Later, he devoted over five decades to broadcasting LSU football — first as a sideline reporter, then as an analyst on both radio and TV. He’s also had a storied legal career, serving as judge and district attorney in Baton Rouge. This week, LSU will formally honor Moreau during the South Carolina game, with a special recognition during the first quarter. Read more about his iconic career here.

🔼 Setting The Standard. LSU forward Jalen Reed is gearing up for the 2025–26 season not just as a player, but as a symbol of resilience and leadership. Last year, he was starting to break out, earning team captain honors and posting career highs, before a torn ACL against Florida State cut his season short. Throughout his recovery, Reed didn’t disappear: he remained vocal, supportive from the bench, and deeply involved in the team’s journey. And while Reed’s injury was a setback, how he’s risen above it is already making him a cornerstone of their future.

🔼 Hold Serve. LSU volleyball is back on the court to take on two more SEC foes this weekend, including No. 3 Kentucky. The Tigers will travel to Alabama for a match that gets underway this evening at 5 p.m. and streams on SEC Network+. On Sunday afternoon, LSU will host No. 3 Kentucky at noon at the Maravich Center; the game will air on ESPN. Here’s everything you need to know about the clashes.
