The Hurry Up: Trey'Dez Green Recaps Monster Night vs. South Carolina

Sophomore tight end Trey’Dez Green put on a show, recording 119 yards on eight catches and a touchdown to lead the offense to a 20-10 victory over South Carolina on Saturday night in Tiger Stadium. He joins Gordy Rush immediately following the game for another edition of The Hurry Up.

🔼 Coming Home. Trey’Dez Green posted one of the most dominant games by an LSU tight end in the last 30+ years as the Tigers defeated South Carolina to celebrate Homecoming on Saturday night. LSU secured the 20-10 victory to improve to 5-1 overall and 2-1 in the SEC. While Green paved the way for the LSU offense, safety A.J. Haulcy got it done defensively, leading the team with 11 tackles. Tamarcus Cooley added five tackles, an interception, and a pass breakup.

🔼 Season Underway. LSU swimming and diving finished its first meet of the season this weekend. The No. 21-ranked women’s squad placed second at the SMU Classic, while the No.14-ranked men’s team came in third. The team is back at it this weekend in a two-day quad-meet in Colorado.

ICYMI: LSU soccer took down Texas A&M on Friday night in front of the fifth largest home crowd in program history! The win marked LSU’s first win over the Aggies, which broke a 16-year streak. LSU soccer is now undefeated in its last four SEC matches, allowing just three goals over that stretch.

Next up, LSU travels to Ole Miss for a road battle on Thursday, Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. The game will air on SEC Network.
