Geaux Big With B. On the latest edition of Geaux Big with B, senior middle blocker Rumur Rouille, native of Tucson, Arizona, joins Bailey Ortega to talk about her adjustment to the South, her decision to become a Tiger, the Europe Trip, and much more. Make sure to follow LSU Volleyball the rest of the season!

🔼 Our Boot. The Golden Boot is staying in Baton Rouge! LSU took down Arkansas 34-10 on the road. Whit Weeks was the star of the defense, recording nine tackles, a sack, and an interception. Caden Durham became the first true freshman with 100+ yards and three touchdowns on the road or against an SEC team. Damian Ramos made four field goals on four attempts. LSU came in at No. 7 in the Coaches’ Poll and No. 8 in the AP Poll.

🔼  Went Sweeping. The swimming & diving team picked up six dual meet wins at the Naval Academy over the weekend. The men’s team defeated Navy, Loyola of Maryland, and George Mason. The women’s team also beat all three teams. LSU won 26 events at the dual meet.

🔼 Three-For-Three. The women’s golf team finished the Stanford Intercollegiate in sixth-place. Rocio Tejedo made it three-for-three in under-par rounds. She finished in a tie for fifth individually. They’ll play at the East Lake Cup on October 28.

🔼  More Than A Game. LSU softball head coach Beth Torina will receive the 2024 NFCA Humanitarian Award on December 7. The award goes to an NFCA member coach who has dedicated their time toward the long-term betterment of the community and engages in charitable activities to serve others. Coach Torina works tirelessly to raise awareness and funds for ovarian cancer research. LSU softball has hosted an annual Strikeout Ovarian Cancer Teal Game since 2013, preceded by the Geaux Teal Ovarian Cancer Awareness walk.
