LSU Football hits the road to face No. 17 Vanderbilt, traveling to Nashville for the first time since 2020. The Tigers – who now enter the heart of their SEC schedule – brace for an early, 11 a.m. kick and an important conference battle. Plus, an exclusive with tight end Trey'Dez Green, who continues his breakout sophomore season.

🔼 Preseason Stars. Flau’jae Johnson, Mikaylah Williams, and MiLaysia Fulwiley all earned preseason All-SEC recognition from the league’s coaches this week. Johnson and Williams landed on the All-SEC First Team, while Fulwiley was named to the All-SEC Second Team. As a whole, the Tigers are predicted to finish third in the league.

LSU will host two exhibition games that are open to fans in the coming weeks, including tonight against Mississippi College and next Thursday, Oct. 30, vs. Langston, before opening the season at home on Nov. 4 against Houston Christian. All games will tip at 7 p.m.

🔼 Going Pro. Four Tigers earned spots on D1 Baseball’s Top 100 College Prospects Lists ahead of the 2026 MLB Draft. Outfielder Derek Curiel (No. 7), shortstop Steven Milam (No. 35), RHP Mavrick Rizy (No. 48), and infielder Trent Caraway (No. 87) all landed on the list.

🔼 Play Ball. You’ll have three more chances to check out LSU baseball as part of its fall ball series. Come on out tonight at 4:30 p.m. (then head on over to the women’s hoops scrimmage!), Friday at 3:30 p.m, and Sunday at 1 p.m. Gates open 15 minutes before the first pitch.

🔼 Honey Badger. Tyrann Mathieu is one of the best to ever do it for LSU football, and the former Tiger earned a spot on the 2025 SEC Legends Class! The class will be honored at the 2025 SEC Football “Weekend of Champions” celebration on Dec. 5 in Atlanta, and again at the SEC Football Championship Game on Dec. 6.

🔼 Moving Up. LSU men’s golfers Arni Sveinsson and Dan Hayes earned conference honors this week, with Hayes being named the SEC Freshman of the Week and Sveinsson earning Golfer of the Week after their superstar performances at the Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational. It’s Hayes’ third Freshman of the Week nod in four tournaments, while Sveinsson’s Golfer of the Week recognition is his second of the season.

👉 In other men’s golf news, LSU jumped seven spots in the national rankings this week, landing at No. 2 in the country.
