Yes, we told you they'd be taking the week off for the open date, but Kent Lowe, Michael Bonnette and Bill Franques return to the podcast studio to record an impromptu edition of Sports Information, recognizing the life of legendary LSU Basketball coach Dale Brown, who passed away on Friday. The guys share stories and honor the legacy of Coach Brown – an iconic figure in the history of LSU Athletics.

🔼 Another Watch List Nod. MiLaysia Fulwiley has been named to the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award Preseason Watchlist as one of the top 20 shooting guards in the country, an honor no LSU player has ever won in the award’s nine years. The 5-10 guard led the Tigers in scoring last season with 511 points and claimed SEC Sixth Woman of the Year for the second straight year, then opened the exhibition slate with 32 points, 17 assists, six rebounds, and seven steals against UNT Dallas. She joins Jada Williams, named to the Nancy Lieberman Award watchlist on Monday, as the second Tiger recognized this week.

🔼 A New Tier. The LSU Baseball Coaches Committee has added an Omaha level at $5,000, the most exclusive tier of the program’s longest-running booster organization. Members get an invite to a Nov. 8 meet-and-greet with Jay Johnson and 2023 National Championship stars Cade Beloso, Gavin Dugas, Brayden Jobert, and Tommy White before the fall exhibition against Troy at Alex Box Stadium. Committee members also get priority registration for the First Pitch Banquet on Feb. 4, which sold out in a matter of weeks last year.

MiLaysia Fulwiley is the third Tiger to win SEC Sixth Woman of the Year. Who were the first two?
