The Real Deal. Toronto native and LSU Football defensive end ⁠Paris Shand⁠ joins The Real Deal to talk about a handful of topics, including transferring from the University of Arizona, life in the South, his love for music, the power of meditation, and much more.

🔼 Second Half Setback. The first half of Saturday’s game at No. 14 Texas A&M was all LSU, as the Tigers led 17-7 at the break. The Aggies had a quarterback change as Marcel Reed took the reins and LSU would lose their second game of the season, 38-23.

Aaron Anderson led the team with 126 receiving yards and a touchdown. Kyren Lacy was close behind with 106 yards. Garrett Nussmeier threw for 405 yards with three total touchdowns and three interceptions. The Tigers land at No. 16 in both polls.

🔼 Finished Strong. The soccer team defeated Missouri 1-0 on the road to wrap up the regular season! The win kept the postseason hopes alive as they clinched a spot in the SEC Tournament. Ida Hermansdottir scored in the 67th minute to win the game. They’ll play next Sunday in Pensacola.

🔼 Award Winner. Women’s golfer Taylor Riley was presented with the Tom Cousins Award at the Party on the Green as part of the East Lake Cup that will begin today. The award is presented to the student-athlete that best exemplifies the civic, community, and philanthropic qualities of Tom Cousins. Coverage of the tournament will be on the Golf Channel at 2 p.m.

🔼 Moving On. Former Tiger women’s golfers Latanna Stone and Carla Tejedo took another step forward to a possible LPGA Tour card. They advanced through the second stage of qualifying in Florida. They are guaranteed full Epson Tour Status.

🔼  Split The Weekend. LSU volleyball went 1-1 on the weekend with a win over Auburn and a loss to Georgia. The Tigers went to Auburn to beat them in four sets. The fourth featured 18 ties and six lead changes. On Sunday, the Tigers fell to the Bulldogs in four sets. Despite losing, the Tigers led the Bulldogs in all offensive categories.
