The Path - It’s On Us. Saturday featured a tale of two halves when LSU Football traveled to College Station for a top-15 matchup with Texas A&M. Plus, a closer look at how sophomore Whit Weeks has emerged as one of the nation's top linebackers.

🔼 Another One Bites The Dust. The seventh-ranked women’s basketball team defeated LSU-Alexandria 117-37 in last night’s exhibition game. Flau’Jae Johnson led the Tigers with 29 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Aneesah Morrow recorded a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds, adding five assists. The Tigers held LSUA players below 10 points. The regular season will begin on Monday when they host Eastern Kentucky.

🔼 Dozen Roses. The Cheryl Miller Award preseason watch list came out yesterday, and Mikaylah Williams was one of 20 players on it. The award goes to the nation’s top small forward. She enters her sophomore season after being named the SEC Freshman of the Year.

🔼 Tight Match. The women’s golf team fell to USC in the finals of the East Lake Cup. The Tigers finish second in the event. Freshmen Josefin Widal and Rocio Tejedo scored points for the Tigers in the finale. The team will have a break until the spring portion of the season begins in February.

🔼  Remembering A Legend. Former LSU basketball and baseball player Terry Smith passed away earlier this month. He lettered in both sports in 1966, earning a basketball scholarship and walking on to the baseball team. He led the baseball team with a .305 batting average while playing first base.
