The Difference | We Decide | S1 EP5

LSU Football kicks off October with a matchup with in-state opponent McNeese. Behind a potent rushing attack and contributions from up and down the roster, a bit of history was made under the lights on Saturday night in Death Valley.

🔼 Free Baseball This Week. LSU baseball opens its intra-squad scrimmage slate with three looks at the 2027 Tigers, running at 6 p.m. Thursday, 6 p.m. Friday, and 4 p.m. Sunday at Alex Box Stadium. Admission and parking are free all fall, with gates opening about 15 minutes before each scrimmage at the Gate 2 home plate entrance. More dates will be announced as the fall practice period rolls on. LSU opens the regular season Feb. 19 against Long Island.

🔼 Going Pro. Sophine Kevorkian has signed her first professional contract with Brooklyn FC. The goalkeeper spent her final two seasons at LSU, where she won the starting job and led the Tigers to the SEC Championship match and a Sweet 16 appearance, the deepest NCAA Tournament run in program history. She lost just once in 13 appearances last season with three clean sheets and 38 saves. An Armenian international with six caps, Kevorkian most recently appeared in a 2027 World Cup qualifier this past March.
