Paul Skenes looks to become the first former Tiger to win the Cy Young.

Good morning, LSU Fam. No. 5 LSU women’s hoops posted a road win on Sunday afternoon, taking down Georgia Southern, 118-70. Flau’jae Johnson and MiLaysia Fulwiley led the Tigers in scoring with 19 points apiece, while ZaKiyah Johnson added 17, Mikaylah Williams scored 15, and Grace Knox posted 13. Kate Koval tallied a double-double with 12 points and 14 boards, the only Tiger to rebound in double digits. The Tigers will be back at it at home on Wednesday, Nov 12.

🔼 At Home. LSU men’s hoops will host New Orleans tonight at 7 p.m. at the Maravich Center. Fans can grab $5 tickets at the PMAC ticket window with a food drive donation. Full preview here.

🔼 What A Run. LSU soccer’s incredible run through the end of the regular season and the SEC Tournament came to an end on Sunday afternoon at the SEC Championship. The Tigers fell, 8-7, in the penalty shootout to Vanderbilt. Gabbi Ceballos scored LSU’s lone regulation goal.

🔼 To Be First. Paul Skenes has an opportunity to become the first former LSU Tiger to win the Cy Young Award. This year’s winners will be announced on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 6 p.m. on the MLB Network. Skenes was named a finalist for the award alongside Los Angeles’ Yoshinobu Yamamoto and Philadelphia’s Cristopher Sanchez.

🔼 Two In A Row. LSU volleyball picked up its second straight win, this time defeating South Carolina on the road on Friday night. With the win, the Tigers posted their first sweep in SEC play this season. Jurnee Robinson led the way with 19 kills on .316 hitting while adding eight digs and one block. Angelina Lee posted a season-high 13 kills and hit .478 with three blocks, while Lauren Brooker dished out 41 assists, seven digs, two blocks, and one kill. LSU will travel to Georgia on Nov. 12 before wrapping up the regular season at home on Nov. 14 against Auburn.

🔼 That’s A Sweep. The No. 14/21 LSU swimming and diving team posted four dual victories on Friday en route to setting two school records and seven pool records. Zoe Carlos-Broc, Martina Bukvic, Avery Littlefield, and Michaela de Villiers set the LSU record in the 200-medley relay, while Sofia Sartori set a new school record in the 200-fly.

On Saturday, the LSU women’s swimming and diving team claimed the top spot in every swimming event as the squad won another three dual victories over Tulane, Rice, and Houston. Sofia Sartori set a pool record in the 200-back during the meet.

🔼 First Start. Former LSU Tiger Trendon Watford had a stellar first start for the 76ers! Watford’s 20-point, 17-rebound, 10-assist game puts him in elite company with Nikola Jokic, Josh Giddey, and Russell Westbrook.
