🎥 LSU PLUS: THE REAL DEAL

The Real Deal: Mikaylah Williams

Get to know Mikaylah Williams, the Bossier City native and star guard for the LSU Women's Basketball team, who enters the 2025-26 season on the Wade Watch List, the Cheryl Miller Award watchlist, and the Naismith Trophy – given annually to the best player in the country. 

Your YETI Game Changer of the Week is LSU women’s basketball’s Flau’jae Johnson!

In her return to her home state, Flau’jae Johnson led the Tigers in scoring against the Georgia Southern with 19 points. She finished with six assists, four rebounds, and a steal.

🔼 Tourney Time. LSU soccer earned its fifth straight NCAA Tournament berth yesterday and will play as a fourth seed. The Tigers will host Houston Christian in the first round on Friday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m. inside the LSU Soccer Stadium. The first round will be held from Nov. 14-16, with the second and third rounds being held Nov. 20 and 23. The quarterfinals will take place on Nov. 28 or 29, and the NCAA Women’s College Cup will be played on Dec. 5 and 8 in Kansas City.

🔼 Tourney Standouts. Three Tigers earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team after LSU’s incredible run to the championship game. Jazmin Ferguson, Gabbi Ceballos, and Ava Galligan all earned the recognition after outstanding performances in the SEC Tournament. Galligan tallied two goals and one assist, while Ceballos scored LSU’s lone goal in the championship match. Ferguson played all 380 minutes and helped hold LSU’s opponents to just four goals across the full tournament.

🔼 Monday Night Hoops. LSU men’s basketball picked up a 93-58 win over New Orleans last night. Mike Nwoko led the way for the Tigers with 22 points, while Marquel Sutton and Jalen Reed added 15 apiece. Sutton and Pablo Tambra both posted double-doubles in the victory. Next up? LSU welcomes FIU on Thursday, Nov. 13, at 7 p.m.

🔼 In Primetime. LSU football’s home finale will kick off in primetime! The Tigers will take on Western Kentucky at 6:45 p.m. CT on Saturday, Nov. 22, on SEC Network.

🔼 Locked Down. MiLaysia Fulwiley was named the Defensive Player of the Game for LSU women’s hoops! Fulwiley tallied seven deflections, three steals, and seven rebounds, all while scoring 19 points on the other end of the court.
