The Path. ESPN's College Gameday travels to Baton Rouge for the first time since 2019 as LSU and Alabama square off in a high-stakes matchup on Saturday Night in Death Valley. A second SEC loss, however, forces everyone to take ownership.

🔼 For The Children. The women’s basketball team put on a show in front of over 10,000 screaming local elementary students. They defeated Charleston Southern 117-44. Flau’Jae Johnson reached 1,000 career points, finishing the game with 18 and 10 rebounds. Mikaylah Williams led the Tigers in scoring with 25 points. Aneesah Morrow recorded a double-double with 21 points and a whopping 20 rebounds. It was the 27th 20/20 game in LSU history.

🔼 Crunch Time. LSU volleyball hosts South Carolina tonight at 7 p.m. This match has potential NCAA Tournament implications, as a win would help the Tigers in the RPI rankings. LSU’s Jurnee Robinson ranks second in the SEC with 4.91 kills and 5.55 points per set. The Tigers enter the night on a six-match winning streak and have won the last five home matches.

🔼  Watch Out. Two men’s golfers were named to the Final Fall Watchlist for the Fred Haskins Award. Algot Kleen and Árni Sveinsson landed on the list for the honor that goes to the most outstanding men’s collegiate golfer.

Women’s golfer Rocio Tejedo landed on the Final Fall ANNIKA Award Watchlist, going to the top women’s collegiate golfer.

🔼  Double Trouble. LSU divers Zayne Danielewicz and Carson Paul shared this week’s SEC Diver of the Week honors! The pair split wins on the springboard events in a tri-team meet with Alabama and Florida State. Danielewicz won the 3-meter, while Paul won the 1-meter. The Tigers return to the pool at Georgia on November 20.
