We're back with another edition of Sports Information – the hottest podcast in collegiate athletics. The guys break down a variety of topics, including LSU Soccer's incredible run and their upcoming NCAA Tournament games, Paul Skenes winning the Cy Young, Hoops at the PMAC, morning football inside Death Valley and much, much more.
🔼 Thursday Night W. LSU men’s basketball snagged a win last night to get to 3-0 on the season after defeating FIU, 98-81. Marquel Sutton finished with a double-double for the Tigers, scoring 19 points and hauling in 12 rebounds, while Mike Nwoko matched him with 19. Max Mackinnon (17), Dedan Thomas Jr (15), and Jalen Reed (10) all finished in double figures for the Tigers, while Pablo Tamba added seven rebounds, and Thomas Jr’s five assists led the team on the night.
LSU will next play Alcorn State on Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 7 p.m. at home.
🔼 Defensive Standout. MiLaysia Fulwiley earned Defensive Player of the Game for her performance against Charlotte! Fulwiley locked down the 49ers with 10 deflections, three steals, and wrangling four loose balls.

🔼 Signing Day Continues. We have more news on LSU additions! Women’s golf announced the addition of Australian star Raegan Denton, while the men’s program signed Texas state champion Austin Randall.

🔼 Time For Regionals. LSU cross country is set for the NCAA South Central Regional Championship in Fayetteville. The women will race at 9 a.m. today, while the men’s race is set for 10 a.m. The LSU men’s program will not be eligible for a team finish as the full squad is not traveling for the meet. Four LSU men are hoping to qualify for the NCAA Championships as individuals, including Casey Goetschel, Hugh Carlson, Trenton Sandler, and Emedy Kiplimo. The first four regional finishers not from an automatic qualifying or at-large team will earn an auto-bid to the championships.
