Film Room: Coach Frank Wilson Breaks Down Key Plays vs. Arkansas

Interim head coach Frank Wilson goes inside the film room with Gordy Rush to break down key plays from LSU's 23-22 win vs. Arkansas to capture the Battle for the Golden Boot on Saturday afternoon in Tiger Stadium.

🔼 Winning Continues. LSU men’s hoops stayed undefeated on the season with a 107-81 win over Alcorn State at home last night. Mike Nwoko set the tone for the Tigers with a 29-point, nine-rebound effort, while Marquel Sutton and Dedan Thomas Jr. both added 16 points. Sutton finished with 10 boards for a double-double. The Tigers are back at it on Friday at 7 p.m. against Omaha.

🔼 Kicking It. LSU’s Damian Ramos is one of 20 semifinalists for the Lou Groza Award, given annually to the top placekicker in college football. Ramos would be the first Tiger to win the award in program history. Ramos is 20-of-24 on field goals this season, with his 20 FGs ranking second in the SEC and fifth nationwide.

🔼 Locked Down. Flau’jae Johnson and MiLaysia Fulwiley earned Co-Defensive Player of the Game honors for their performance against Tulane. Fulwiley tallied 18 deflections, eight steals, three rebounds, and two loose balls, while Johnson posted six deflections, three steals, four boards, and four loose balls in the win.

🔼 Hang It Up. All-American plaques made it to Baton Rouge! LSU men’s golf’s Algot Kleen landed on the second team, while Arni Sveinsson earned a third team position. As a whole, the squad earned the Presidential Academic Award.
