Good morning, Tigers. It’s GAME DAY! LSU women’s hoops opens a brand new season this evening against Southeastern Louisiana at 6 p.m. at the PMAC.

The No. 9 Tigers tuned up with an exhibition win over Loyola in which seven players hit double figures, led by Mikaylah Williams with 23 and ZaKiyah Johnson with 22, and the defense forced 36 turnovers that turned into 48 points. LSU plays its first seven games at home before heading to Fort Myers for a multi-team event.

🔼 Clinched! LSU soccer needed a point in Columbia and got one, holding Missouri scoreless to lock up a spot in the SEC Tournament. Audur Scheving made a save to preserve the clean sheet while Sariyah Bailey put two shots on frame and the Tigers earned nine corners pushing for a winner. LSU finished conference play with 10 points and draws No. 6 seed Auburn in the first round Sunday afternoon in Pensacola.

🔼 Break Out the Brooms in Oxford. LSU volleyball grabbed its second straight SEC road win with a three-set takedown of Ole Miss, the Tigers’ first sweep at Gillom Arena since 2014. Jurnee Robinson posted the 40th double-double of her career with 17 kills and 13 digs while hitting .364, and Martina Villani handed out 42 assists, the most by an LSU setter in a three-set match this season. The Tigers held the Rebels to a .136 attack percentage, the lowest any LSU opponent has managed all year.

🔼 Draft Boards Loaded. Five Tigers landed on D1Baseball.com’s Top 100 College Prospects list for the 2027 MLB Draft, led by junior outfielder Bino Watters at No. 13. Right-handers William Schmidt and Casan Evans check in close behind at No. 18 and No. 19, with senior shortstop Steven Milam at No. 35 and junior infielder Dawson Park at No. 88. Watters arrived from Notre Dame as a first-team All-ACC pick, while Milam reached base safely in 35 straight games to close out last season.

🔼 Postseason Opens. LSU cross country wrapped up the SEC Championships at Gans Creek with the women placing 10th and the men 14th. Abigael Chemnagei and Edna Chepkemoi paced the women’s 6k with back-to-back finishes in 21st and 22nd, while Micaela Villarreal ran a personal best to take 32nd. Hugh Carlson led the men in the 8k, and the Tigers head to Bryan-College Station on Nov. 13 for the NCAA South Central Regional.
