The third round game is today at 2 p.m. CT against Vanderbilt, with a trip to the Elite Eight on the line.

LSU beat Iowa, 2-1, in the NCAA Tournament’s second round on Friday night to advance. Iowa got off to a 1-0 start early in the first half before Ida Hermansdottir notched the equalizer three minutes later. Ava Galligan scored the game winner in the second half.

The Hurry Up: West Weeks Talks Senior Night Victory

Linebacker West Weeks recaps his final game in Death Valley and an @LSUfootball win on the latest edition of The Hurry Up.

🔼 One Last Time At Home. LSU football notched the win in its final home game at Tiger Stadium on Saturday evening, defeating Western Kentucky, 13-10. Michael Van Buren Jr passed for over 200 yards, while Harlem Berry rushed for 80, Zavion Thomas hauled in 47, and Trey’dez Green added 45 in the win. With the victory, LSU is now 70-1 at home vs. non-conference opponents since 2000.

🔼 5-0. LSU men’s hoops stayed undefeated with a 99-73 win over Omaha on Friday night. Dedan Thomas Jr. paved the way for LSU with a double-double, notching 15 points and 11 assists. Five Tigers finished the night in double figures as LSU gears up for the Emerald Cost Classic in Niceville, Florida, on Friday, Nov. 28.

🔼 In Focus: Jimari Butler. Jimari Butler has one mindset when he takes the field for LSU: the defensive back is calm, focused, and all about winning the next rep. It’s a practice he honed in high school, and it’s served him well in his journey to LSU.

 🔼 In Focus: Bernard Gooden and Jacobian Guillory II. Jacobian Guillory II, who has played with LSU for his entire career, and transfer Bernard Gooden, are driving forces of persistence and grit for the Tigers.

🔼 Dove In. No. 11/13 LSU swimming and diving finished the Georgia Invitational with the women placing second and the men placing fourth. The Tigers set several school records during the meet, including Sofia Sartori breaking her own time in the 200-fly and the men’s 400-free relay squad.
