Good morning, LSU Fam. LSU soccer is still hot, hot, hot! 🔥 The Tigers beat Mississippi State, 3-1, to advance to the SEC Finals for the first time since 2018 and the third time in program history.  

Ava Galligan scored her 10th goal of the season to give the Tigers the 1-0 lead in the first half, then Ida Hermannsdottir scored on a penalty kick to extend the LSU lead. Sariyah Bailey capped off the LSU scoring to make it 3-0 before halftime.

The Final is set for Sunday, Nov. 9, at 1:30 p.m.

🔼 Winning! LSU women’s basketball secured a 115-26 win over Southeastern Louisiana last night. Five different Tigers scored in double digits with Flau’jae Johnson leading the way with 17. ZaKiyah Johnson and Kate Koval added 16 points, Bella Hines scored 14 points, and Grace Knox tallied 11. Koval posted nine rebounds to lead the team.

🔼 Match Time. LSU volleyball has one match this week as the end of the regular season draws closer. The Tigers are on the road in Columbia tonight, taking on South Carolina at 6 p.m. You can catch the match streaming on SEC Network+. Full preview here.

🔼 In Class. Six LSU student-athletes earned recognition from the LSU Cox Communications Academic Center for Student-Athletes for outstanding scholastic and community achievements. Men’s swimming and diving’s Albert Bouley, women’s basketball’s Divine Spirit Bourrage, football’s Aeron Burrell and Michael Van Buren Jr., women’s swimming and diving’s Malou Douillard, and soccer’s Sariyah Remanente-Bailey were all honored for the month of November.

🔼 Dive In. The No. 14/21 LSU swimming and diving squad hosts No. 16/16 Alabama and No. 19/NR Florida State on Friday, then Rice, Houston, and Tulane for a women’s only meet on Saturday. Friday’s tri meet begins with diving at 11 a.m. and swimming at noon, while Saturday’s quad meet starts at noon. The first 100 fans on Friday will get a free Whataburger chicken biscuit, while Saturday’s first 100 fans receive Swimmer Mike gameday buttons. More details here.
