LSU and Nike announced an extension to a partnership that has spanned the last five decades and brings about an exciting new initiative: Nike’s Blue Ribbon Elite NIL program.

The program is the first of its kind and is designed to reimagine the NIL landscape by offering schools and athletes an unparalleled level of collaboration.

The LSU athletes who will join Nike’s elite NIL athletes include Kailin Chio (gymnastics), Derek Curiel (baseball), Toni Edwards (softball), Casan Evans (baseball), Trey’Dez Green (football), Jayden Heavener (softball), ZaKiyah Johnson (basketball), DJ Pickett (football), Jurnee Robinson (volleyball), and Dedan Thomas Jr. (basketball).

🔼 Home Slate. LSU’s 2026 SEC schedule is set! The Tigers will host Alabama, Texas, Texas A&M, and Mississippi State next season, and will open the season at home for the first time since 2020. LSU is set to take on Clemson in Week 1. Full schedule details here!

🔼 Fresh Impact. DJ Pickett and Silas Hall both earned spots on the SEC Coaches’ Freshman All-SEC Team! Pickett appeared in all 12 games for the Tigers, tallying 30 tackles, two sacks, and three interceptions. Meanwhile, Hall started the season as LSU’s primary snapper for field goals and extra points, then took over punt coverage snapping midway through the campaign.
