Tigers Win: Tyrann Mathieu

The Honey Badger is here. Tyrann Mathieu, one of the greatest to ever put on the LSU uniform, joins the latest episode of Tigers Win, talking all things LSU football, his love for Louisiana, retirement & more.

🔼 Midday Winners. LSU women’s hoops won its Field Day battle against Morgan State, 91-33, yesterday afternoon. The 12-0 Tigers were led by MiKaylah Williams and Flau’jae Johnson’s 14 points, while MiLaysia Fulwiley added 11, Grace Knox tallied 10, and Jada Richardson scored 10. No. 5 LSU will be back at it on Sunday, Dec. 21, against Texas-Arlington at 1 p.m. CT.

🔼 Record Setters. Four Tigers set a new LSU volleyball record for the most players in program history to earn CSC Volleyball Academic All-District honors. Congratulations to Lauren Brooker, Jessica Jones, Aly Kirkhoff, and Angelina Lee!

🔼 One More. Add another accolade for Mansoor Delane! The senior cornerback earned first-team All-America from the American Football Coaches Association, making Delane a consensus All-America honoree. To become consensus, a player must land on at least three of the five All-America teams across the AP, Walter Camp, The Sporting News, AFCA, and FWAA. The Sporting News and FWAA have yet to announce their All-America lineups.

🔼 What A Season. LSU soccer’s historic season was truly one for the record books. Take a look back at the team’s top accomplishments en route to the first Sweet 16 appearance in school history.

🔼 Making Moves. Casan Evans had a fantastic freshman campaign for LSU. D1 Baseball deep dives into what it would look like to have Evans as part of the full-time rotation.

LSU Athletics is proud to partner with Louisiana Secretary of State Nancy Landry to remind voters that Louisiana’s new Closed Party Primaries will change the way elections happen starting in 2026. Before you Geaux Vote, be sure you KNOW how those changes will affect you.
