LSU closes out 2025 in the Kinder's Texas Bowl.

Good morning, Tigers! LSU football closed out the 2025 season in a high-scoring battle with Houston at the Kinder’s Texas Bowl. The Tigers fell, 38-35, and ended the season at 7-6.

Michael Van Buren Jr. passed for 267 yards and three touchdowns, two of which went to tight end Trey’Dez Green. Green finished with four catches for 80 yards and the pair of TDs, while Kyle Parker caught 7 passes for 68 yards and Chris Hilton added three receptions for 67 yards. In the loss, Green set the single-season LSU record for a tight end with six receiving touchdowns on the season.

The Tigers are back at it on Sept. 5, 2026, at home against Clemson to kick off the 2026 season.
