🔼  Takin’ Over Texas. The Tigers are headed to the Kinder’s Texas Bowl! LSU football will take on Baylor at NRG Stadium in Houston at 2:30 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. Fans can purchase tickets here. LSU will occupy the North sideline and is designated as the home team.

🔼 Happy Homecoming. LSU women’s basketball defeated Grambling 100-54 in Mikaylah Williams’ return to her hometown. Before the game, officials from Parkway High School presented Williams with a framed No. 12 jersey and announced they would be retiring her number. She finished the game with 16 points, six rebounds, and three assists. Aneesah Morrow recorded her 83rd career double-double, tied for eighth most in DI history. She scored 26 points and added 16 rebounds.

🔼  Coastin’. The men’s basketball team got their eighth win of the year, defeating Florida Gulf Coast 80-71. Daimion Collins led the Tigers with a career-high 18 points. Corey Chest recorded his first career double-double with 12 points and rebounds. The Tigers will hit the road to play at SMU on Saturday.
