Fresh off a 198.050 score a week prior, LSU Gymnastics heads to Missouri for their second road test. Plus, Courtney McCool Griffeth explains what goes into building lineups each meet and freshmen Nina Ballou and Haley Mustari react to their first month of the season. The Tigers also return home to face Penn State for another Top-25 matchup.

🔼 Combine Time. LSU football tied Ohio State for the third-most NFL Combine invitations among FBS schools with 11 players heading to Indianapolis from Feb. 23 through March 2, trailing only Texas A&M (13) and Alabama (12). The Tigers lead the nation with four wide receivers invited (Aaron Anderson, Barion Brown, Chris Hilton, and Zavion Thomas) while unanimous All-American cornerback Mansoor Delane headlines the list as a Thorpe Award finalist and projected first-round pick. Senior Bowl MVP Garrett Nussmeier joins Delane after becoming just the third 7,000-yard passer in LSU history, alongside tight end Bauer Sharp, edge rushers Patrick Payton and Jack Pyburn, linebacker Harold Perkins, and safety A.J. Haulcy.

🔼 Stop ‘Em. LSU senior right-hander Zac Cowan was named to the 2026 Stopper of the Year Preseason Watch List by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, joining 103 other players vying for the award given to the top relief pitcher in Division I Baseball. The South Carolina native earned 2025 First-Team All-SEC honors.

🔼 Keeping Watch. LSU women’s basketball is the only school in the nation with three players on the John R. Wooden Late Midseason Top 20 Watch List, as senior Flau'jae Johnson and juniors Mikaylah Williams and MiLaysia Fulwiley were recognized for their play through 25 games of the 2025-26 season. Johnson averages 13.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists, Williams has scored in double figures in 19 of 25 games while averaging 13.2 points, and Fulwiley leads the SEC and ranks ninth nationally with 80 steals while averaging 13.4 points and 3.6 assists.

🔼 Ranked Foes. No. 12/10 LSU (6-0) heads to the Shriners Children's Clearwater Invitational in Florida for five games against nationally ranked opponents over three days, starting today with No. 11/8 Nebraska (9 a.m. CT, ESPN2) and No. 23 Oklahoma State (2 p.m. CT, ESPN2). The Tigers, who are fresh off four run-rule wins and two shutouts at the Tiger Classic, will also face No. 22/19 Duke on Friday, UCF on Saturday, and No. 6/7 UCLA on Sunday.
