Bayou Brew 2/16: Back on the Field

Plus: A time change for today!

Good morning, Tigers!

Junior rightfielder Jake Brown powered top-ranked LSU bsaeball to a dominant 21-7 series-sweeping victory over Milwaukee on Sunday, blasting two home runs, including his first career grand slam, and driving in a career-high six RBI! The Tigers (3-0) invoked the 10-run rule after the top of the seventh inning behind a 17-hit offensive explosion that also featured Trent Caraway's three-run triple and five RBI, Derek Curiel's 3-for-4, three-RBI performance, and Seth Dardar's three-run homer off the bench. Sophomore right-hander William Schmidt (1-0) earned the win with a dominant 4.0-inning outing, allowing just three runs on four hits while striking out a career-best nine batters.
