LSU now hits the road for the Live Like Lou Classic in Jacksonville, where they'll face Indiana (Friday, 1 p.m. on D1Baseball.com), Notre Dame, and Central Florida over the weekend.

The Real Deal: Gracey James Campbell of LSU Beach Volleyball Talks Debut Novel

Gracey James Campbell, a senior beach volleyball student-athlete from Corinth, Texas, joined The Real Deal podcast to talk about her debut romance novel “It’s Been Five Years,” which released on Feb. 5.

🔼 Game Day. No. 7 LSU heads to Oxford tonight (8 p.m., ESPN) for a Top 25 showdown with No. 17 Ole Miss. The Tigers are pouring it on this season, leading the nation in scoring at 95.7 points per game, a pace that would shatter Georgia's 1986 SEC record of 89.2. Flau'jae Johnson is closing in on 2,000 career points (needs 69), while MiLaysia Fulwiley ranks first in the SEC in steals with 84, cracking LSU's all-time top 10 for a single season. Keep an eye on Mikaylah Williams, who needs just 27 points to become the 17th player in program history to reach 1,500 career points.

🔼 Called Up. Make it three in one week! Former LSU soccer defender Sydney Cheesman has been called up to the U.S. Under-23 Women's National Team for a training camp and friendlies against Mexico in Miami (Feb. 27–March 7). Cheesman was a rock in the Tigers' backline during their historic 2025 run to the program's first NCAA Sweet 16, starting 43 of her 44 career appearances. Her selection joins a remarkable week for the program. Freshman Sariyah Bailey earned a U.S. U-19 call-up and former Tiger Ida Hermannsdottir was named to the full Icelandic Women's National Team.

🔼 Going National. LSU volleyball star Jurnee Robinson will take part in the 2026 Women’s National Team Collegiate Training at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado from Feb. 19-22!

🔼 Fresh Impact. Talk about making the most of your moment! LSU men’s golf freshman Hudson Lawson found out he was getting his first start in the LSU lineup only after Arni Sveinsson, the No. 8 amateur in the world, fell too sick to play. No sweat for the rookie, who earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors for his performance. Lawson fired a nine-under 207 at the Puerto Rico Collegiate Classic, finishing T14 and second on the team while helping the Tigers to a runner-up finish behind No. 1 Virginia. He led the entire field in eagles (two) and par-five scoring (4.17).
