🐯 And so much more!
🔼 A Ranked W. No. 7 LSU women’s hoops beat No. 17 Ole Miss on the road last night, 78-70. MiLaysia Fulwiley set a new career high with 26 points while shooting 10-of-18 from the field; she led the Tigers in scoring on the evening. LSU also got double-digit scoring from Flau’jae Johnson, who finished with 18 points. LSU will take the court on Sunday against Missouri at 3 p.m. from Baton Rouge.

🔼 Back At It. No. 1 LSU baseball (5-0) heads to Jacksonville for the Live Like Lou Jax College Classic at VyStar Ballpark, facing Indiana today (1 p.m., D1Baseball.com), Notre Dame Saturday, and UCF Sunday. LSU is rolling, as Jake Brown earned Baseball America National Team of the Week honors after going .529 with four homers and 10 RBI through four games, including becoming the first LSU player to hit two homers in back-to-back games since Jared Jones in 2023. Gavin Guidry has been electric in his return from a back injury that cost him all of 2025, striking out 10 batters in 4.1 hitless innings across two relief appearances. The pitching staff racked up 49 strikeouts in the Milwaukee series alone, the most in a three-game set since at least 1992. As a team, LSU is hitting .355 with 12 homers through five games.

🔼 Purple & Gold. LSU softball (8-4) is set to host the Purple & Gold Challenge at Tiger Park this weekend, welcoming Michigan State, UL Lafayette, and Howard. LSU opens Friday against Michigan State (6:30 p.m. CT, SEC Network+). The Tigers are a perfect 7-0 at home and riding their fifth run-rule victory of the season after dispatching South Alabama 10-2. Senior Jalia Lassiter is on fire, batting .471 with an eight-game hitting streak and has reached base in 20 straight games dating back to last season. Alix Franklin leads the country with four triples, while Tori Edwards paces the squad with 13 RBI. The pitching staff has posted a 3.05 ERA and the defense has turned 10 double plays, third-most in Division I.

🔼 Sandy Spikes. The No. 12 LSU beach volleyball squad opens its season this weekend at the Green Wave Invitational in New Orleans with five matches across Friday and Saturday. Head coach Russell Brock says this group had one of the most productive preseasons he can remember. LSU faces No. 20 Tulane first thing Friday (8:30 a.m. CT), then South Florida and Oregon before wrapping up Saturday against Texas A&M Corpus Christi and Spring Hill. The Tigers return key pieces like CCSA All-Tournament honoree Skylar Martin and All-Freshman pick Camryn Chatellier, and added serious firepower in transfer Emily Hellmuth, who helped Texas A&M win the NCAA indoor volleyball title last season.

🔼 Dove In. Day three of SEC Championships in Knoxville brought a bronze medal for Zoe Carlos-Broc in the 100-back, where the Paris native posted a personal-best 51.14, the second-fastest in program history. Diver Carson Paul narrowly missed the podium in the 3m, finishing fourth by just 0.45 points. Sofia Sartori added a fourth-place finish in the 200-fly.

🔼 On Council. LSU football offensive lineman Braden Augustus has been elected vice chair of the SEC Student-Athlete Advisory Council. The Baton Rouge native, now entering his fourth year with LSU, has been active in leadership roles including the SEC Football Leadership Council and as the SEC's representative for NCAA Football Student-Athlete Engagement. Augustus will participate in SEC Spring Meetings later this year alongside Arkansas volleyball's Romani Thurman, who was elected chair.
