🔼 For the Fourth Time. Kailin Chio just keeps rewriting the record book. The sophomore gymnastics phenom earned her fourth SEC Gymnast of the Week honor this season, and 13th of her career, after dropping two perfect 10s in the same meet against top-ranked Oklahoma last Friday. Chio hit 10.0 on vault (her first on the event this season) and 10.0 on beam (her second), while also winning floor and all-around titles for a four-event sweep.

🔼 Midweek Win. LSU softball’s Char Lorenz went yard twice and Jayden Heavener was dominant as No. 17 LSU cruised past McNeese 9-3 last night. Lorenz's two solo shots made her the first Tiger with a multi-homer game since Maci Bergeron did it against Kentucky last March. Heavener was electric in the circle, going the distance with a season-high 11 strikeouts, her second double-digit K performance of 2026.

The Tigers (13-4) host the LSU Invitational at Tiger Park this weekend, welcoming Iowa, Memphis, and Nicholls (Feb. 27-29).

🔼 Field Report. Moving on up! No. 17 LSU softball climbed in all four major polls this week after going 5-0, including a dominant sweep of the Purple & Gold Challenge. The Tigers' pitching staff was the story, posting a 0.97 ERA with 21 strikeouts while holding opponents to just a .165 batting average.

🔼 Ranked and Ready. LSU women’s tennis checked in at No. 9 in the rankings after another stellar week on the court!
