🔼 Double The Fun. It took 50 minutes, but LSU men’s hoops found a way, outlasting Ole Miss 106-99 in a double-overtime thriller in Oxford last night. Max Mackinnon delivered a monster 33-point performance, including a clutch six-point burst in the second overtime that put the game away. Michael Nwoko was automatic at the line, going a perfect 10-for-10 from the stripe on his way to 18 points, and the Tigers got double-figure scoring from six players total. LSU trailed by four with under 2:30 left in regulation before Nwoko's free throws and a jumper forced OT at 82-82. LSU heads home to host Oklahoma on Saturday at 5 p.m. at the PMAC.

🔼 Busy At The Box. No. 1 LSU baseball hosts a packed schedule at Alex Box Stadium starting Friday, with four Tiger games and three bonus non-LSU matchups on the docket. LSU opens against Dartmouth on Friday at 6:30 p.m. takes on Northeastern Saturday at 2 p.m., then closes with Dartmouth again Sunday at 1 p.m. and Northeastern on Monday at 6:30 p.m.

As a bonus, Grambling State will face Northeastern (Friday 1 p.m.) and Dartmouth (Saturday 6:30 p.m.), plus a Sunday evening rematch with Northeastern at 6 p.m. All three have free admission. The stadium will be cleared between games, so have your tickets ready for the LSU contests.

🔼 Giving Back. Flau'jae Johnson is making an impact well beyond the court. The senior guard was named to the 2026 SEC Community Service Team for her dedication to the Baton Rouge community, where she's logged 176 hours of service during her time at LSU. From handing out candy at the Halloween BOOzar to assisting athletes at the Baton Rouge Miracle League to painting shoes with patients at OLOL Children's Hospital, Johnson has been a constant presence in community outreach. Most recently, she and her teammates' painted shoes were displayed during the Tigers' game against Texas-Arlington.

🔼 Match Time. Big week ahead for the No. 7 LSU men’s tennis team! LSU (10-2) heads to Youngsville today for a doubleheader against Nicholls (12 p.m.) and UL-Lafayette (4 p.m.), then returns home for the SEC home opener on Sunday with a doubleheader featuring Ole Miss (12 p.m.) and Southern (4 p.m.) at the LSU Tennis Complex.

The Tigers are riding high after a dominant 6-1 win over Alabama, and their five ranked wins this season are already more than any full season under head coach Danny Bryan, propelling LSU to its highest national ranking since 2000.
