National Signing Day. Coach Kiffin addressed the press on National Signing Day to talk about the Tigers' recruiting haul, including portal additions, incoming high school players, and recent staff hires. Watch it here.

🔼 First Pitch. It starts today! LSU softball kicks off the 2026 season ranked No. 16/13, hosting the Tiger Classic Feb. 5-8 at Tiger Park with games against NC State, Nevada, Illinois, and Lamar. The Tigers return seven starters and bring in five high-profile transfers, including Cece Cellura from San Diego State and Char Lorenz from Louisville. Preseason All-SEC selections Maci Bergeron and Tori Edwards lead a squad predicted to finish seventh in the conference. All LSU games will stream on SEC Network+, with the opener against NC State set for 6 p.m. CT on Thursday, Feb. 5.

🔼 Top Five. LSU junior Steven Milam earned the No. 5 spot on D1 Baseball's Top 50 College Shortstops list for 2026. The New Mexico native had a breakout 2025 season, earning College World Series All-Tournament Team honors after hitting .350 (7-for-20) with two doubles, two RBI, and four runs in Omaha. Milam dominated the NCAA Tournament overall, batting .385 (15-for-39) with five doubles, one homer, and a team-high 13 RBI across 11 games.

🔼 Masters Of The Green. LSU women’s golf sophomore Rocio Tejedo and incoming freshman Raegan Denton have accepted invitations to compete in the 2026 Augusta National Women's Amateur (April 1-4). The prestigious 72-player field includes the top 20 players in the World Amateur Golf Rankings and 48 of the top 50 overall, representing 23 countries across six continents. For Tejedo (No. 26 WAGR), who just finished T-5 at LSU's spring opener in Puerto Rico, it marks her third consecutive appearance in the event. Denton (No. 38 WAGR) from Adelaide, Australia, has been scorching hot with three wins in her last five starts, including January's Women's Australian Master of the Amateurs.

🔼 On The Diamond. LSU baseball hosts preseason intra-squad scrimmages this week at Alex Box Stadium with free admission and parking. The scrimmages are scheduled for Thursday at 1:30 p.m. CT, Friday at 2 p.m. CT, Saturday at 1 p.m. CT, and Sunday at 1 p.m. CT. Fans will be admitted through the Gate 2 home plate entrance approximately 15 minutes before first pitch each day.
