Tigers Win. On the latest episode of Tigers Win, Josh Jordan of LSU Baseball stops by the podcast lounge to preview the upcoming season and provide insights surrounding a star-studded roster once again at The Box.

🔼 Down To Georgia. The men’s basketball team is in Athens, Georgia tonight for an 8 p.m. matchup with the Bulldogs! Fans at home can watch on the SEC Network. Both teams are trying to get back to their winning ways, as the Tigers have dropped their last four and Georgia has lost five of their last six.

🔼  Big 4 The Finalist. Women’s basketball’s Flau’Jae Johnson has been named one of 10 finalists for the Ann Meyers Drysdale Shooting Guard of the Year award! This season, she’s averaging 20 points per game and has scored in double-figures in 33-straight games dating back to last season. She’s had four games this year with at least 25 points, five rebounds, and five assists. Fans can participate in Fan Voting starting Friday at hoophallawards.com.

🔼 Fabulous Freshman. LSU gymnast Kailin Chio has earned SEC Freshman of the Week for the third time this season! She won her first career all-around title as they took down No. 9 Missouri on Friday. She had career-highs on bars, beam, and the all-around.

🔼 Springing Into Action. The women’s golf team tied for sixth at the Puerto Rico Classic this week! Freshman Rocio Tejedo had her best finish yet as she tied for second-place at 7-under par. It was her fourth top-five finish of the 2024-25 season.

🔼 Double Down. Two Tigers earned Preseason All-American honors by Baseball America! Kade Anderson earned second-team honors, while Chase Shores was named to the third-team. Anderson played an important role in the postseason, recording 2.1 scoreless innings over two appearances in the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional. Shores missed last season due to Tommy John surgery.
