The Real Deal. On the latest edition of The Real Deal, Haleigh Bryant and Aleah Finnegan of LSU Gymnastics stop by the podcast lounge on National Girls & Women in Sports Day!

🔼  Walking Bucket. Women’s basketball’s Mikaylah Williams has been named one of 10 finalists for the Cheryl Miller Small Forward of the Year award! She has played multiple positions, from point guard to power forward - she can play wherever needed. She’s averaging 17 points per game this season.

Williams and the sixth-ranked Tigers will play at Missouri tonight at 6:30 p.m. on SEC Network+.

🔼 Big Four. LSU baseball had four named Preseason All-SEC by the league’s coaches! Jared Jones, Kade Anderson, and Gavin Guidry earned First-Team honors, while Daniel Dickinson was named Second-Team. The Tigers were selected to finish fourth in the league.

🔼 Seeing Green. Women’s golfer Rocio Tejeda has been invited to the 2025 Augusta National Women’s Amateur! This is the second time she’s received that special green envelope to play at the Augusta National Golf Club. She’ll play in the event April 2-5.

🔼 Welcome To The Boot. LSU football announced the addition of Alex Atkins as tight ends coach and run game coordinator. He comes to LSU after previously serving as offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Florida State. He helped lead the Seminoles to a 13-1 record in 2023.

🔼 Road Woes. The men’s basketball team was unable to stop Georgia as they took over the second half last night. The Tigers fell 81-62 in Athens. The Bulldogs out-rebounded LSU 47-26 throughout the night. Jordan Sears led the Tigers with 11 points, while Daimion Collins and Cam Carter had 10 each.
