No. 5 LSU women's basketball kept rolling.

No. 5 LSU women’s hoops dominated Auburn on the road yesterday afternoon, picking up a 77-44 win. ZaKiyah Johnson scored 16 points and eight rebounds, while Mikaylah Williams added 12 and Amiya Joyner tallied a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double. 10 different Tigers found the scoresheet in the win.
LSU will be back at it in a colossal Top-5 match-up on Saturday, Feb. 14, as the Tigers welcome No. 3 South Carolina at 7:30 p.m.

🔼 Celebrate The Season. It’s time! LSU Baseball is set to host Fan Fest from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. CT on Friday, Feb. 13, in the plaza outside Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field, ahead of the Tigers' season opener against Milwaukee at 2 p.m. Presented by Visit Baton Rouge, the free family-friendly event offers various activities including photo opportunities with the 2025 National Championship Trophy, while concessions will be available on the stadium's upper concourse. Guaranty Broadcasting's "The Hunt Palmer Show" will broadcast live from outside the stadium from noon to 2 p.m. during the festivities. More details here.
🔼 Opening Weekend. LSU softball opened its first weekend of the season in style! The No. 16 Tigers beat NC State on Thursday, 11-3, Nevada, 6-2, and NC State, 7-5, on Friday, Nevada, 8-0, on Saturday, and Illinois, 9-1, and Lamar, 8-0, on Sunday to get to a perfect 6-0 start.
Next up is a trip to Clearwater, Fla, where the Tigers will partake in the Shriners Children’s Clearwater Invitational. LSU will face Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Duke, UCF, and UCLA from Feb. 12-15.

🔼 Home Cooking. No. 3 LSU Gymnastics extended its home winning streak to 17 consecutive meets with a top-25 victory over No. 14 Penn State before 11,603 fans at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center, improving to 5-1-1 on the season. Sophomore Kailin Chio swept three event titles: vault (9.975), beam (9.925), and all-around (39.600, her second straight), while Madison Ulrich won bars (9.950) and Amari Drayton claimed floor (9.950, tying her career high). The Tigers posted season-high marks on vault (49.475) and floor (49.550) while sweeping all five event titles, with Chio earning her 14th title of the season and 37th of her career. LSU will host Auburn in an SEC showdown on Friday, Feb. 13, at 7:45 p.m. CT on SEC Network.

🔼 On Track. LSU track and field wrapped up the two-day UNM Collegiate Classic in Albuquerque with several standout performances led by senior Matthew Sophia's personal-best in the 60-meter hurdles final, moving him to No. 6 on LSU's all-time list and earning the event win. Amal Glasgow shattered the Vincentian national record with a 45.90-second 400 meters (46.01a), breaking his own week-old mark of 46.70 and climbing to No. 9 all-time at LSU, while finishing sixth in a field of 54 runners. Junior Jaiden Reid took second in the 60-meter final with a season-best 6.58 (6.60a), while Joshua Caleb placed fourth at 6.66 (6.68a), and fellow senior Jahiem Stern finished fourth in the hurdles final at 7.71 (7.73a).
