🔼 The Boot’s Best. The seventh-ranked men’s golf team won their third team title of the year! They won the 40th Louisiana Classic by two shots over the defending champions of Texas A&M. Alfons Bondesson tied for first individually at 9-under. Arni Sveinsson tied for sixth and Luke Haskew tied for 18th. The Tigers will be back at it on Monday at the Pauma Valley Invitational.

🔼 Big Addition. LSU welcomes Kyle Williams back to the football program as the defensive line coach! He anchored the defense that ranked among the nation’s best during his time as a defensive lineman in purple & gold. He earned All-SEC honors and was named first-team All-America in 2005. He went on to spend 13 years with the NFL’s Buffalo Bills and joins the LSU staff after five seasons as the defensive coordinator at Ruston High School.

🔼 Perfect Pair. LSU beach volleyball pair Gabi Bailey and Parker Bracken have been named the CCSA Pair of the Week! The duo went 4-0 at the ULM Bayou Bash last weekend. The Sandy Tigs are riding an 11-game win streak as they head to Manhattan Beach, California for the East Meets West Invitational this weekend.

🔼 Chasing Championships. LSU track and field will send eight individual athletes and one relay team to the NCAA Indoor Championships! The women’s team, ranked eighth nationally, features two returning NCAA champions, Brianna Lyston and Michaela Rose. The men’s team will debut Jahiem Stern and Jaiden Reid. The meet will take place tomorrow and Saturday.
