🔼 Sunday Shutout. The Tigers took care of business Sunday at Alex Box Stadium, shutting out Dartmouth 3-0 to improve to 11-1 on the season. William Schmidt was the story of the afternoon, delivering a masterful seven and one-third innings with nine strikeouts, zero walks, and just four hits allowed. LSU's defense and bullpen took care of the rest to preserve the shutout. Up next: Northeastern visits Baton Rouge today at 6:30 p.m. CT, streaming on SECN+ and available on the LSU Sports Radio Network.

🔼 Break Out The Brooms. The Tigers are on a roll! No. 17 LSU softball swept Iowa (5-3) and Memphis (7-0) on Saturday at Tiger Park to close out February on a high note, improving to 17-4 overall and a perfect 15-0 at home. Char Lorenz was the star of the day, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and three walks across both games, including a pair of doubles against Iowa. In the nightcap, freshman Paytn Monticelli delivered her first collegiate shutout, striking out a season-high nine Memphis batters, while freshman Ci'ella Pickett shone in her first career start with two RBI and her first career hit. LSU now holds a 14-0 all-time combined record against Iowa and Memphis.

Up next, the Tigers open SEC play with a three-game series at No. 1 Tennessee on March 6-8.

🔼 On Track. The Tigers wrapped up the SEC Indoor Championships in College Station with some memorable moments! The highlight of the meet belonged to senior Ella Onojuvwevwo, who delivered one of the biggest performances in program history by winning the women's 400 meters in 50.96 seconds, the first individual gold medal of her collegiate career. The time makes her just the second woman in LSU history to break 51 seconds indoors and currently ranks her No. 2 in the NCAA, No. 6 in the world, and No. 2 in African indoor history.

Freshman Athaleyha Hinckson also turned heads, breaking her own Guyanese national record in the 60 meters with a 7.16 seconds, tying legendary LSU alum Kimberlyn Duncan in program history. Both the men and women finished 12th in the final team standings.

🔼 Dove In. The Tigers made a big splash in Auburn at the Last Chance Invitational. Volodymyr Lisovets and Guilherme Camossato each broke school records in the breaststroke events on Friday, while sophomore Grace Palmer claimed the No. 1 spot in program history in the women's 200-meter breaststroke with a 2:07.55 on Saturday. Next up, the diving team heads to the NCAA Zone D Diving Regional at Texas A&M on March 8-11.

🔼 Bump, Set, Spike. The Sandy Tigs had a strong showing at home! No. 12 LSU beach volleyball went 4-1 at the Tiger Beach Challenge in Baton Rouge, defeating Southern Miss, Houston Christian, North Alabama, and UL-Monroe, with the only loss coming against No. 18 Washington. The Tigers capped the weekend with a dominant 5-0 sweep over UL-Monroe. LSU now hits the road for the next two weekends, competing in the MPSF Coast to Coast Classic and East Meets West Invitational.
