🔼 Feelin’ Sweet. No. 2 seed LSU women’s basketball dominated its NCAA Second Round matchup with No. 7 seed Texas Tech on Sunday, beating the Red Raiders 101-47 to punch its ticket to the Sweet 16. The Tigers will take on Duke this Friday in Sacramento, California for a chance to play in the Elite Eight.

🔼 Podium Finish. No. 2 LSU Gymnastics finished in third place at the 2026 SEC Championships with a 197.950 team score on Saturday night inside the BOK Center. Two Tigers claimed SEC individual titles on the night. Sophomore Kailin Chio took home the vault title with a 9.975 and claimed the all-around with a 39.775. Fellow sophomore Kaliya Lincoln took home a share of the floor title alongside three other competitors with her 9.950 score on the night.

🔼 Last Splash. LSU women’s swimming and diving closed out its season over the weekend at the NCAA Championships, with the team earning 21st place overall. The finish is the team’s best since the 2023-24 season.

🔼 Broken Record. LSU track and field got outside for the first time this spring over the weekend, winning 18 events while recording six top-10 marks in program history at the LSU Opener. Princesse Hyman stole the show, breaking the LSU record in the women’s discus with a throw of 59.90 meters.

🔼 Series Secured. No. 22 LSU softball bounced back from a series-opening loss to No. 21 South Carolina on Friday to win two straight, claiming the conference series over the Gamecocks in Columbia, S.C. Tori Edwards’ two-run double on Sunday gave the Tigers all the offense they needed in a 2-1 series-deciding win.

LSU Athletics, in partnership with Baton Rouge Area Foundation and Visit Baton Rouge, announces a new initiative, Death Valley Live, which is set to bring world-class entertainment and special events to one of the most iconic venues in America, Tiger Stadium.
