🔼 Boot Up. LSU Vice President and Director of Athletics Verge Ausberry announced on Thursday that Will Wade has been chosen to lead the future of the LSU men’s basketball program!

Coach Wade returns to Baton Rouge for his second stint as head coach, having previously served from 2017-22. His previous five-year tenure at LSU was noted for consistent winning and a return of interest in the basketball program.

🔼 Sweet To Elite. No. 2 seed LSU women’s hoops tips off against No. 3 seed Duke tonight at 9 p.m. CT from Sacramento, California with a trip to the Elite Eight on the line!

Tonight’s game is a rematch from earlier this season on December 4, which the Tigers won at Duke, 93-77.

🔼 Cat Fight. LSU baseball plays its second consecutive SEC series at home this weekend, welcoming No. 21 Kentucky to Alex Box Stadium for a three-game set. The Wildcats are 20-4 overall this season and 4-2 so far in SEC play.

🔼 Sooner Showdown. There’s a Top 25 matchup at Tiger Park this weekend, as No. 20 LSU softball hosts No. 5/3 Oklahoma for an SEC series. The Sooners are 32-2 overall and unbeaten in SEC play at 6-0.

🔼 Weekend At The Beach. No. 12 LSU beach volleyball travels to Austin, Texas this weekend for four matchups against four top-10 opponents — No. 2 Stanford, No. 1 UCLA, No. 10 Long Beach State and No. 3 USC.

🔼 Tees In The Ground. LSU women’s golf heads to the state of South Carolina this weekend to play in the Clemson Invitational at The Reserve at Lake Keowee, the team’s last tournament before SEC Championships begin on Friday, April 17.

LSU Athletics, in partnership with Baton Rouge Area Foundation and Visit Baton Rouge, announces a new initiative, Death Valley Live, which is set to bring world-class entertainment and special events to one of the most iconic venues in America, Tiger Stadium.
