In Round 1 of the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate, Ryleigh Knaub continued her strong play with a 1-under 70.

Sophomore centerfielder Derek Curiel has landed on the 2026 Bobby Bragan National Collegiate Slugger Award Watch List, an honor recognizing excellence at the plate, in the classroom, and in character. The West Covina, Calif., native was the nation's top freshman in 2025, batting .345 with 20 doubles, seven home runs and 55 RBI while helping LSU win the NCAA National Championship. The winner will be announced in June and honored at a fall gala in Fort Worth, Texas.

🔼 In The Circle. LSU softball’s Jayden Heavener checks in at No. 28 in the nation on Softball America’s Pitcher Power Rankings for March!

🔼 Locked Down. Kate Koval earned LSU women’s basketball Defensive Player of the Game honors after her stellar performance on Sunday afternoon against Mississippi State. Koval tallied five blocks, nine deflections, and wrangled three loose balls in the team’s regular season finale.

🔼 Game Day. LSU men’s basketball closes out the road schedule tonight at Neville Arena, tipping off just after 9 p.m. CT on the SEC Network and Eagle 98.1 FM. LSU closes the regular season Saturday at home against Texas A&M at 5 p.m., with Senior Night ceremonies beginning at 4:40 p.m. Full preview here.

🔼 Big Throw. LSU track & field sophomore Princesse Hyman earned the French U23 discus title! Hyman posted a throw of 53.95 meters to claim the crown.
