🔼 Awards Time. The accolades are rolling in for the sixth-ranked Tigers. MiLaysia Fulwiley claimed SEC Sixth Woman of the Year honors for the second time in her career after averaging 14.1 points, 3.1 steals and 3.5 assists off the bench through 30 games. Her 93 steals rank second in the SEC and 13th nationally. Flau'jae Johnson and Mikaylah Williams each earned All-SEC First Team recognition for the second straight season, while freshman ZaKiyah Johnson was named to the All-SEC Freshman Team after averaging 10.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.

🔼 Best in the Nation. Sophomore Kailin Chio is putting together one of the most remarkable individual gymnastics seasons in the country. She claimed her fifth SEC Gymnast of the Week honor of 2026 , five of the eight awarded this season, after a 39.800 all-around performance and two perfect 10s across meets against No. 3 Alabama and at the Podium Challenge. Chio now ranks No. 1 nationally in the all-around (NQS 39.725), vault (9.960) and beam (9.990), ending UCLA's Jordan Chiles' eight-week reign at the top. Her third straight perfect beam score gives her six 10s this season and seven in her career, tying her with Lloimincia Hall for seventh in program history. Next: at No. 4 Florida on March 8 at 5 p.m. CT on SEC Network.

🔼 On the Road. LSU baseball (11-2) travels to Tigue Moore Field to face UL Lafayette (9-3) tonight at 6 p.m. CT on ESPN+. The Tigers went 3-2 last week but got strong pitching performances throughout; Cooper Moore improved to 3-0 with 10 strikeouts in 7.2 innings Saturday, while Gavin Guidry remains perfect on the season at 3-0 with a 0.00 ERA. The trip also marks a milestone for head coach Jay Johnson, who notched his 200th win at LSU last week and now stands 201-79 with the Tigers. LSU leads the all-time series 59-28 and won 17-4 in Baton Rouge last season.
