🔼 To The Championship. Seven Tigers, including one relay team, are headed to the NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships in Fayetteville, Ark. on March 13-14. Leading the group is senior Ella Onojuvwevwo, who owns the nation's second-fastest 400-meter time of 50.96 seconds after winning the SEC title in just her second 400m race of the year. On the women's side, Athaleyha Hinckson (60m, No. 9) and Keliza Smith (200m, No. 12) also qualified. The men are represented by Jaiden Reid (200m, No. 16), Jordan Turner (long jump, No. 5), Justine Jimoh (high jump, No. 10), and the 4×400 relay squad ranked seventh nationally. Coverage begins today at 11 a.m. CT on ESPN+, with a replay airing Sunday at 6 p.m. on ESPNU.

🔼 On Deck. LSU softball (17-4) opens SEC play with a three-game series against undefeated No. 1 Tennessee (20-0) beginning tonight at 5 p.m. CT on SEC Network+, with Saturday's game at 2 p.m. CT also on SEC Network+ and Sunday's finale on SEC Network at 1 p.m. CT. LSU enters riding a 10-game winning streak, led by Jayden Heavener (6-2, 2.40 ERA, 48 strikeouts) and a dominant Tatum Clopton (5-1, 1.09 ERA). 🔼 On the Diamond. LSU baseball (11-3) welcomes Sacramento State (3-9) to Alex Box Stadium this weekend, with games today at 6:30 p.m., tomorrow at 6 p.m., and Sunday at 1 p.m. CT on SEC Network+. LSU enters having gone 3-3 over its last six games, a speed bump Coach Jay Johnson says will make the team better. The pitching staff remains a strength: Cooper Moore is 3-0 with a 2.33 ERA, Gavin Guidry is 3-1 with a 2.38 ERA and 18 strikeouts in just 11.1 innings, and Deven Sheerin has yet to allow a hit in 6.1 scoreless innings this season.

🔼 Historic Streak. The Sandy Tigs checked in at No. 13 in the AVCA week two poll, extending their remarkable streak of consecutive top-20 rankings to 102. LSU went 4-1 at the Tiger Beach Challenge last weekend with wins over Southern Miss, Houston Christian, North Alabama and UL-Monroe. Up next, the Sandy Tigs head to Los Angeles for the MPSF Coast to Coast Classic on March 6-7, where they'll face a murderer's row of ranked opponents in No. 1 Stanford, No. 3 USC, No. 10 California and No. 18 Washington.

LSU Athletics, in partnership with Baton Rouge Area Foundation and Visit Baton Rouge, announces a new initiative, Death Valley Live, which is set to bring world-class entertainment and special events to one of the most iconic venues in America, Tiger Stadium.
