🔼 Pleasantville. For the second time this season, Taylor Pleasants hit a walk-off home run in extra innings to take down No. 11 Texas A&M! She’s now in sole possession at No. 4 all-time at LSU with 43 career homers. The Tigers and the Aggies were stuck at one run each in the bottom of the eighth inning last night before she launched the solo shot to win 2-1. Ciara Briggs brought a runner in to tie the game in the fifth. Sydney Berzon earned the win in the circle after throwing a complete game with five strikeouts. They’ll continue the series today at 5 pm and tomorrow at 2 pm, both on SEC Network+.

🔼 Sweet Dreams. After tonight’s sleep, March Madness returns as the women’s basketball team takes on No. 2 UCLA tomorrow at 12 pm on ABC. The Tigers and the Bruins haven’t met since 2011, the Tigers hold the all-time advantage at 4-2. The winner of this matchup will play the winner of Iowa and Colorado in the Elite Eight on Monday. These two games will be held in Albany, New York at MVP Arena.

🔼 Back For More. LSU baseball dropped last night’s series opener at No. 1 Arkansas, 7-4. Arkansas’ ace Hagen Smith gave up his first run in conference play, as the Tigers scored two on him. Tommy White and Hayden Travinski hit back-to-back home runs in the fourth inning to take the 2-1 lead. They’ll continue the series tonight at 7 pm on SEC Network and tomorrow at 2 pm on SEC Network+.

🔼 Welcome To Death Volley. The beach volleyball team is hosting the Death Volley Invitational today and tomorrow at the LSU Beach Volleyball Stadium. The 10th-ranked Tigers will take on No. 1 USC, No. 2 UCLA, No. 3 Stanford, and No. 6 California. The tournament will stream on Volleyball World VBTV. AVP announcer Mark Shuermann and head coach Russell Brock joined us on LSU GOLD to preview the weekend!

🏈 PATH TO THE DRAFT

Malik Nabers was a star at LSU’s Pro Day on Wednesday. He ran a 4.25 40-yard dash and had a vertical leap of 42 inches. He completed 15 reps on the bench press and leaped 10-feet 9-inches in the broad jump. The Biletnikoff Award runner-up goes into the NFL Draft as one of the top receivers.
