The Real Deal. Running back Caden Durham burst onto the scene in 2024 as a freshman, recording 753 yards on 140 carries for six touchdowns. He joins the latest edition of The Real Deal before LSU takes the field on Saturday in Tiger Stadium.

🔼 700 Club. LSU softball downed Louisiana Tech 9-1 last night in Beth Torina’s 700th career win. She is the only active head coach at LSU with 500 or more victories. The Tigers used four-run first and sixth innings to their advantage in the win. Tatum Clopton struck out five batters in her third complete game this season.

🔼 Burns, Baby Burns. It’s time for the best weekend of professional golf, The Masters! Former Tiger All-American Sam Burns will make his fourth Masters start today in Augusta, Georgia. He’ll be in the final group off the tee at 12:45 p.m.

🔼  Student-Athletes. Four LSU swimmers and divers — Andrew Garon, Megan Barnes, Maggie Buckley, and Reagan Osborne — were named to the CSC Academic All-District team for their academic and athletic achievements. The team recently finished the season at the NCAA Championships, with the women placing 22nd and the men 19th.
